ARC Review: The Saint by Tiffany Reisz

Synopsis: Before she became Manhattan’s most famous dominatrix, Nora Sutherlin was merely a girl called Eleanor…

Rebellious, green-eyed Eleanor never met a rule she didn’t want to break. She’s sick of her mother’s zealotry and the confines of Catholic school, and declares she’ll never go to church again. But her first glimpse of beautiful, magnetic Father Marcus Stearns—Søren to her and only her—and his lust-worthy Italian motorcycle is an epiphany. Eleanor is consumed—yet even she knows being in love with a priest can’t be right.

But when one desperate mistake nearly costs Eleanor everything, it is Søren who steps in to save her. When she vows to repay him with complete obedience, a whole world opens before her as he reveals to her his deepest secrets that will change everything.

Danger can be managed—pain, welcomed. Everything is about to begin.

MY REVIEW: 5 out of 5 Stars

WOW! I am a huge fan of Ms. Reisz’s from the moment I read the Siren-there are only a few authors in my readings that I ever give a full 5 stars to and she is one of them. The synopsis is above, and I will not give away any spoilers, but this book was just as good as the rest of them. Ms. Reisz had my emotions on edge from the first paragraph….If you are at all familiar with the Original Sinners series and the are on Team Soren then you will understand what I mean.

Although, the story focuses on the early years of Nora and Soren’s relationship, there is a present day feel within the story. I enjoyed the way Ms. Reisz crafts the past into the present and it works. I do not think that the story would have been the same if it was done any other way. I loved learning about the way Soren prepped and molded Nora into what he needed and what she needed to be.

This is another hit for Ms. Reisz and with each novel and continuation of the story…I fall more in love with Soren. 🙂
