Heated by J. Kenner

Rating: 4.5 out of 5

Synopsis:

I knew better than to risk my heart.
But fierce passion comes at a high price.

I grew up believing in right and wrong, good and evil, black and white. I knew better than to trust. And then I met Tyler Sharp.

Bold, charming, and dangerously sexy, Tyler always gets what he wants. But his smile can be deceiving, his dealings sordid, his ambitions ruthless. I thought I was the one woman strong enough to resist him, but our need for each other was too urgent to deny.

One look and I was in trouble. One touch and I was hooked. One night and I became his.

And now that I’ve fallen, there’s no going back.

My Review:

WOW! Just Wow! I first found J. Kenner with her Stark Trilogy, which was good compared to this new trilogy. I have had the opportunity to review most of Ms. Kenner’s Erotica. This novel was by far my favorite. I enjoyed being entwined back into the work of the three men; Evan Black. Tyler Sharp. Cole August.

This novel focused on Tyler Sharp, and whoa…is he hot! A man who knows what he wants and who he wants: Sloane. Sloane is a cop recovering from a work injury looking for a friend that disappeared. Sloane believes she can con the con man and get close to him without losing herself. She is wrong. She battles with herself, her morales and her hormones.

Tyler Sharp is used to getting who and what he wants on his terms. It isn’t a surprise that he pegged Sloane from the minute she stepped foot into his life, into his club. Tyler finds himself losing his control, willingly risking himself and his business partners to pursue a relationship with Sloane.

The emotions are charged. The sex is hot and Ms. Kenner has another hit on her hands. This by far was my favorite of her novels. I am waiting for Cole’s story.
