From the Publisher:

For Damien, our obsession is a game. For me, it is fiercely, blindingly, real.

Damien Stark’s need is palpable—his need for pleasure, his need for control, his need for me. Beautiful and brilliant yet tortured at his core, he is in every way my match.

I have agreed to be his alone, and now I want him to be fully mine. I want us to possess each other beyond the sweetest edge of our ecstasy, into the deepest desires of our souls. To let the fire that burns between us consume us both.

But there are dark places within Damien that not even our wildest passion can touch. I yearn to know his secrets, yearn for him to surrender to me as I have surrendered to him. But our troubled pasts will either bind us close . . . or shatter us completely.

My Review:

Wow! I thoroughly enjoyed the first novel in this series, Release Me, and was excited that Net Galley and Random House allowed me to review this as an ARC.

I want my own Damien, and I think I said that in the first review I did. This particular novel continues where Release Me left off and the reader is given an insight into the problems and secrets that plague Damien. Although he is a pillar of an alpha male, the readers are given a peak inside his emotions that he hides.

Not to give too much away, Nikki is correct in her assessment of Damien’s past, but the shocking twist towards the end of the novel surprised me..and that’s all I am saying because if I say anymore, I’ll give it away.

I know this review is short, but I really do not want to give the plot line of this novel away. Let me just say that I am eagerly awaiting the conclusion to the trilogy. You will not be disappointed after reading this novel
