ARC Review: The Prince by Tiffany Reisz

Rating: 5 out of 5 Stars.

I was thankfully to Harlequin and Netgalley for the chance to do an ARC review on this novel.  It is no secret that I enjoy good erotic fiction.  In precursor to reading this particular installment, I did purchase the first two in the series, The Siren and The Angel.  I had heard wonderful praise and read some great reviews for The Angel, and I looked forward to reading this one and the others. Okay…now on to the review.

Ms. Reisz knows how to completely send the reader into a mindf*ck. I’m sorry, it is the only word I can think of to describe the novel.  I absolutely loved the hardcore, no limit BDSM in the novel, but there was more. The Prince allows the readers a glimpse at present day events; Nora finds herself in Wesley’s territory:Kentucky where he is the heir to an elaborate and very, very lucrative horse racing legend.  Soren and Kingsley are tracking down the new threat to their secrets, lives and happiness.

Reisz uses flashback narrative to show readers the begin of the relationship between Soren and Kingsley.  We learn more about Soren’s past, why he is the sadist that he is.  We learn about Kingsley’s devotion to him and how their past shapes their relationship in the present. A lot of questions that arise from the first two novels are answered and put into perspective. AND WOW!!! I was was blindsided at times, but the ending just elicited the “WHAT THE F**K?” response (in a good way)!

Oh and we can’t forget Griffin.  The more and more I read about him, the more and more I want him.  Wesley’s character maintains his strength and devotion for Nora.  I love him more now then the first novel, but I felt sad for him as well; knowing that his heart will ultimately be broken (although I hope not).

Tiffany Reisz is a sadist in her own way. A very good way.  I am anticipating the fourth release, The Mistress and anticipating how Reisz is going to conclude this amazing story.
